The Daniel Boone Homestead will be reopening for the 2022 season from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 PM Sunday, March 13 for a community appreciation day! See the Boone house and enjoy period demonstrations. Admission fees will be waived to show our appreciation for our community.

About the Event
The Daniel Boone Homestead will be reopening for the 2022 season from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 PM Sunday, March 13 for a community appreciation day!
Admission fees will be waived to show our appreciation for our community! The Boone house and other historic structures will be open for tours. The Amity Colonial Dancers will offer dancing demonstrations at 1:00 and 3:00 with audience participation encouraged. We'll have the Hopewell Quilters, a gunsmith, leather workers, and colonial trapper to visit. There will be hearth cooking and sawmill demonstrations throughout the day and children will learn quill writing, be mustered into the Revolutionary War militia, play period games, and much more!
