TOURS AT THE HOMESTEAD
The Daniel Boone Homestead is open for tours!

Guided Tours are available Saturday and Sunday at 11:00, 1:00, and 3:00
Tours include an orientation video, access to our "History of the Homestead" exhibit, an hour-long guided tour of the Boone Home, and time for self-guided exploration of the grounds

We are a Blue Star Museum; active-duty military personnel, including National Guard and Reserve and their families, are admitted free for regular tours all year long.

The Daniel Boone Homestead is proud to be part of the Museums For All program to encourage people of all backgrounds to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum-going habits.

We are closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

The Park and Grounds are open Monday- Friday. All buildings and facilities are closed, including restroom facilities.
What safety guidelines are in place?
According to the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission guidelines, masks will not be required but are recommended when visiting the Homestead. Social distancing is still encouraged. Visitors who are experiencing any symptoms of illness should refrain from visiting until they are symptom-free.
