TOURS AT THE HOMESTEAD

Welcome Back!

The Daniel Boone Homestead has reopened for the 2022 season!

Starting March 19th Guided Tours are available Saturday and Sunday at 11:00, 1:00, and 3:00

Tours include an orientation video, access to our "History of the Homestead" exhibit, an hour-long guided tour of the Boone Home, and self-guided exploration of the grounds

 

Individuals with disabilities who need special assistance or accommodation should call 215-582-4900 or email

Private tours for school groups and large groups can be arranged by appointment.

We are a Blue Star Museum; active-duty military personnel, including National Guard and Reserve and their families, are admitted free for regular tours all year long.

The Daniel Boone Homestead is proud to be part of the Museums For All program to encourage people of all backgrounds to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum-going habits.

Monday-Friday 9:00-4:00 Grounds use only. No access to buildings (including restrooms)

We are closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

Admission:

Adults: $10

Senior (65+): $8

Youth (6-17) $5

Children 5 and under free

Grounds Pass: $5 per group

Grounds are open Monday- Friday, all buildings and facilities are closed, including restroom facilities.

 

 Grounds Pass -You are welcome to explore the grounds at your own pace, and if you want to learn more about our site’s history, you can dial into our recently updated cell phone tour at various info points across the grounds! A map of the site and the orientation for our cell phone tour can be found at the Visitor Center.

 

What safety guidelines are in place?

 

According to the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission guidelines, masks will not be required but are recommended when visiting Pennsbury Manor. Social distancing is still encouraged. Visitors who are experiencing any symptoms of illness should refrain from visiting until they are symptom-free.
